Urine Count and Culture Mannitol tube is a urine stabilization container for collecting, transporting and storing urine for bacteria and yeast culture. Urine Count and Culture Urine specimens collected in a mannitol tube may be stored for up to 48 hours at 20-25°C (68-77°F) prior to culturing. This device is intended for professional use only.
Urine CCM tubes are manufactured from PET with predefined vacuum for nominal draw volumes. Tubes have a yellow Pull Safety Cap. The inside of the tube is sterile. The vacuum tube contains a stabilizer that protects the urine sample by preventing the growth of bacteria and yeast.

Precautions/Considerations
- For in vitro diagnostic use only.
- It is disposable.
- Personal protective equipment such as gloves and lab coats should be used to avoid potential exposure to pathogens and infectious agents.
- Handle all biological samples and sampling devices according to your facility's policies and procedures.
- Seek medical attention if you are exposed to biological samples, as the samples may spread infectious diseases.
- Dispose of all collection devices in approved biohazard containers for disposal.
- Do not use the tubes after the expiry date.
- When sampling, do not use tubes/beakers that are contaminated and contain foreign particles.
- After collecting the sample, ensure that the urine sample and the preservative are mixed homogeneously.
- In the case of dilution of urine collected in the CCM, microbial stability at room temperature cannot be achieved for up to 48 hours.
- The product should only be used by properly trained healthcare professionals in accordance with these instructions.
- Do not insert your finger into the Urine Transport Device and Urine Beaker with Integrated Transport Device to avoid needle stick injury.
