The hospital operating lamp, produced under the brand of Opia, is mounted on the ceiling in the operating rooms and is used to illuminate the sterile surgical area where the operating table is located, and to give the desired light power (usually between 130-160,000 Lux for each head) to the personnel performing the surgical intervention. Technical specifications

One or two main arms mounted on the actual ceiling of the operating room and an operating lamp with two or three heads, usually positioned towards the head and feet of the table by connecting to these arms, a holder arm on itself or a wall-mounted, touch or LCD device. controlled via the panel. The control process generally includes the luminous intensity of the surgical lamps on the heads, the ambient lighting at the edges of the surgical lamp, and the camera zoom and position, if any.

Halogen or LED modules in the headers usually operate with 24 VDC voltage, this supply power is mounted either on the inside of the ceiling at the top of the header or on the wall where the control panel is. In the head, there is an Electronic Control Card that transfers this control voltage to the lamps and controls the various functions of the lamp.

Sometimes a medical monitor is attached to the 3rd arm of the Lamps and surgical images obtained with a special SD or HD camera placed on the camera head are viewed on this monitor. In addition, if desired, images can be transferred to the hospital server, as well as PACS, Endoscopy image, Vital parameters, etc. that may be required during the intervention. It can also be recalled from the Server and viewed on the same arm monitor or wall monitor. This mutual image and data communication system is called Integration.

The lamp head must be set in a certain position so that it can then be easily adjusted horizontally and vertically.

The distance between the lower end of the operating lamp and the operating table should be approximately 1.15 m.

The lamp head should be kept in a basic position that does not require extra power and is easily accessible by non-sterile personnel to easily adjust the light.

After the position of the lamp is adjusted, the on button on the control panel is pressed.

In cases where the light intensity needs to be adjusted, the "increase" and "decrease" buttons on the control panel are used.
