OPIA disposable isolation gowns are designed to prevent infectious diseases and pathogens from infecting your clothes and spreading them to others. There are two types of isolation gowns; liquid resistant isolation gowns and impermeable isolation gowns. Liquid-resistant gowns repel light liquids such as blood and urine, but only for a short time as these can be absorbed into the gown after a while. Impermeable isolation gowns can withstand greater amounts of liquid and will not seep through the material and contaminate the garment.
