This notice has been prepared by Opia Medical (“Opia Medical”) as data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

2. Personal Data Processed
Through our website and our contact/quotation forms, the following personal data may be processed:
- Identity data: first name, surname.
- Contact data: phone number, e-mail address.
- Request data: message content, product or service request, company name.
- Transaction security data: IP address, browser information, cookie records.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Answering your requests, questions and applications and maintaining communication,
- Preparing quotations and providing our products and services,
- Fulfilling contractual processes and obligations,
- Improving the website, ensuring its security and statistical analysis,
- Fulfilling legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis
Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the grounds that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, that the data controller must fulfil a legal obligation, on the basis of legitimate interest and, where necessary, your explicit consent.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above, to legally authorised public bodies, to our hosting, e-mail and infrastructure providers and to our business partners in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set by the relevant legislation; once the period expires or the reasons for processing cease, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction of incomplete or incorrect data, to request deletion or destruction, to request restriction of processing and to claim compensation for damages.
