The Opia coaxial breathing circuit portfolio provides a flexible interface between the patient and the Opia device. The breathing circuits are disposable to minimize the risk of cross contamination. Hoses are PVC and latex free.

 

Practical Coaxial Design

Thanks to the Opia anesthesia circuit, you get a standardized, high-quality connection between the patient and their device. The space-saving coaxial design significantly improves the workflow on the device. Available in lengths of 1.7 m, 1.9 m, 2.1 m and 2.3 m, adult tubing systems offer greater flexibility in patient positioning as well as transport. When you have additional monitoring accessories, such as CO2 measurement lines, pre-installed clips are available that allow these additional measurement lines to be routed neatly and efficiently along the hose. The pediatric model has a smaller hose diameter for ease of use in tight spaces.

Opia breathing circuits are made from tested, high quality materials. None of the systems contain PVC and latex and are manufactured without the addition of softeners such as DEHP. It has also been tested for biocompatibility and is resistant to anesthetic gas. Being disposable, it minimizes the risk of cross-contamination to the patient via the breathing tube. All opia breathing circuits have red protective caps. In addition, in accordance with ISO 5367:2014 recommendation, the kits include a leak tester to check the inner hose for leaks. In this way, the inner and outer tubing can be checked for leaks when used with a respirator.
